My home suffered extensive fire damage that required more than 80% reconstruction. At the time, I wasn’t sure which restoration company to approach. I was referred to two or three companies, including SERVPRO, and I spoke with each of them about their process and overall approach.
Mike Miller from SERVPRO of Downtown Raleigh visited the property, took detailed photos, communicated directly with the insurance adjuster, and provided a comprehensive quote. Mike Miller and Pat Fitzsimmons then walked me through the entire restoration process. They also shared references from prior clients who were generous with their time and insights, as well as before-and-after photos of past projects, which gave me a great deal of confidence in SERVPRO's capabilities.
Once I decided to move forward, Mike M. finalized the quote and worked directly with the insurance company throughout the project, without requiring my involvement. This was extremely helpful and removed a lot of stress. Mike Reardon was assigned as the project manager, and he was outstanding. He was transparent throughout the construction process, consistently kept me updated on progress, patiently answered my questions, and addressed any concerns promptly.
During construction, there were several unexpected findings that required additional repairs, but Mike made quick decisions and brought in the necessary crews immediately, which kept the project on track. The final result exceeded my expectations—the home turned out to be in better condition and higher quality than the original construction.
I am extremely happy with this entire SERVPRO team and highly recommend them for any restoration needs.
