So the back story: 5 years ago we had some construction done adding a new kitchen including all new plumbing. Fast forward this past weekend we had a run-of-the-mill clog in the line. Well, what we didn't know was the PVC drain pipe had a saw cut on the top of it. Because the drain was backed up it began leaking out of that cut on the top of the pipe. This flooded one of our downstairs bedrooms. Because we use it as storage it went unnoticed for an extended period of time. It also meant water and kitchen/dishwasher sewage had flooded the room and the carpet, baseboards, walls, and of course caused the ceiling to cave in. We had a mess on our hands for sure. We called around and SERVPRO East Lansing/Haslett not only answered the phone but was able to come the same day and start the cleanup. Like I said Kerry F. from SERVPRO East Lansing Haslett was AMAZING!!. He was prompt and on time, answered all our questions. Kept us informed during the whole process and let us know how things would go and what they needed to do. Most important was he also let us know what we needed to do. Thank you again so much for all the help!!!!
Between Adam and Bert, I couldn't be happier. They were great at explaining the process of my claim, helpful with the insurance company, and made sure I was coming back to a clean and dry home. They really helped make a very tough time manageable, and I definitely recommend them.
This past week has been a really hard one, but Serve Pro was there to hold my hand and walk me through to the other side. Sewage backup in my basement, and the same day I called, Serve Pro was here to clean up the mess, remove damaged walls/floors, and dry out the area. They couldn't have been more responsive or kinder. I would and will recommend them over and over again.
