Arnold, Ca is named after Bob and Bernice Arnold, who, in 1927 opened the Ebbetts Pass Inn. Prior to that, the community consisted of two large ranches where logging was the main industry. The inn served as a stop for people traveling along the Ebbetts Pass route as well as lodging for those visiting nearby Calaveras Big Trees State Park. In 1928, Camp Wolfeboro was established nearby as a Boy Scout camp and continues to be in operation today. The first post office was opened in 1934. Bernice was its postmistress at one time.
Arnold is located in Stanislaus National Forest. Parks located in the area include White Pines Park and Calaveras Big Trees State Park. The Arnold Rim Trail, which was created in 2007, is a 17.5 mile multi-use trail that traverses protected land from Arnold to Avery.

I am very satisfied with the customer service I received from SERVPRO of Amador/Calaveras Counties. I had Sonja, Christian and Julio come out to my house and they provided great knowledge and took care of all of my questions and concerns. Connie helped with the billing and she was very friendly and professional. Great customer service all around.
I called SERVPRO of Amador/Calaveras Counties per recommendation of my insurance company on October 17, 2020 after my washer overflowed (5 hours) upstairs causing a lot of damage to both up & down stairs.
Connie, the Amador/Calaveras SERVPRO manager was quick to respond and had Sonja and her assistant there as quickly as they could get to Jackson.
Sonja (& her assistant) were professional and were quick to stop any further damage. She explained all procedures and what would come next. She came each day for the next 5-7 days to continue the process. On the final day two gentlemen came to remove the rest of the drying equipment, Both as equally professional and efficient as the rest.
Sonja is very knowledgeable in what she is doing. She took the time to explain things to me and made herself available to me by phone as well.
Connie not only handled the office, Dispatch and financial end of this but also was available completely to answer questions and speak with several insurance agents from at least 3 different states. She coordinated everything including my repairs.
I would definitely recommend the SERVPRO of Amador/Calaveras Counties especially Connie and Sonja leading their teams. This was a devastating experience and they helped get the flood under control and helped me with every aspect! 5+ stars each!

I had a dishwasher water leak that went farther than my eye could see. Luckily SERVPRO was able to see and handle the extensive damage. They billed my insurance directly, this made it seamless. The owner Perry has been doing restoration for decades. I enjoyed working with Tori in the office she made me feel very comfortable.
